I have 30 years experience as a professional gardener. For 10 years I was in charge of a small country estate in Oxfordshire, and I have also worked in private city gardens, botanic gardens and public parks. After a couple of years in Australia I am now settled in Kenilworth, semi-retired, and looking for part-time gardening work.
Among the skills I can offer are:
- pruning all types of roses, evergreen and decidous shrubs and climbers
- cutting hedges, including regeneration of neglected ones
- division and planting of hardy perennials
- cultivation, maintenance and repair of lawns, including small scale turfing or seed sowing
- pruning, care and improvement of fruit trees
- all other seasonal work, including the vegetable garden.
